New Interface of Google Maps

Google Maps now have a new interface which has several useful and attractive features. The new interface is very similar to Google Earth features.
The best thing is it has made the Street View option more visible to the users. Now, when you search for a for a location, Google Maps automatically shows you a small preview window near the yellow colour Street View Man for the user to click and see the Street View instantly, if is is available for the particular location that you searched. Switching to the Street View on Google Maps was never easier.
You can also zoom or re-size the little box on the bottom right hand corner of the screen while are still on the Street View.

All the GMail users out there can now change the way their GMail interface look. Google has introduced Themes for GMail and the feature is being rolled out to users gradualy.
The feature can be found inside your Gmail settings page and if you don’t see that yet, you will see it soon!.

Voice & Video Chat On Gmail

Now you can talk to your friends or family face-to-face directly from the Gmail. All you have to do is intall this tiny software from http://mail.google.com/videochat and then click on “Video & more” and select “Start video chat“. Have a look at the following video from Official Gmail Blog.
Take Your Bookmarks With You with Google Bookmarks

One day spent about an hour organizing the bookmarks on Firefox. I created folders and subfolders accordingly and moved the releavent booksmarks of the websites to those folders. Next month, my computer crashed and I lost all my bookmarks. Of course I could have backed them up.
But now, I have a better solution for this. I use Google Bookmarks. If you have a google account, you can not only easily manage your bookmarks, you can access them from anywhere unlike browser based bookmarks.
To add bookmarks, visit http://www.google.com/notebook and click on the New Bookmark button to create a bookmarks. If you type a label for your bookmark, google will categorize your bookmark according to the label.

YouTube’s Haloween Logo

I don’t usually access YouTube a lot but I have never seen them changing their logo like Google Doodles. Today I saw this YouTube logo that they had designed for Haloween. You won’t see it on the home page but if you do a search or watch a video. You should be able to see it.

Free PHP Editor

Rounded Corners - The Easy Way

WordPress Rocks!

I have just completed installing this Wordpress Theme on my web server. It was not as easy as installing it on my PC at home since my web server does not support the installation of WordPress. I had to manually edit some php files and update some parts of the database.
Finally, the site working now and I can definitely I can say that WordPress is one of the best Blog Platforms available! Thanks to the developer of the WordPress.
However, I am still finetuning the site and please let me know if you find anything that does not work.
